Ms. Giselle Henriquez is the Bilingual Child Interview Specialist with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and has overseen the Passaic County Child Advocacy Center since 1999. Ms. Henriquez has conducted thousands of forensic interviews of children involving cases of child sexual abuse, physical abuse, witness to violence, luring, homicides, and suicides to name a few. She is certified as a child interviewer by the American Prosecutor’s Research Institute (APRI.)
Ms. Henriquez is a founding faculty member of Finding Words NJ and has taught hundreds of child maltreatment professionals locally, nationally, and internationally in conducting forensic interviews. In addition, she conducts county-wide in-services for school personnel in reporting child maltreatment.
In 2016, she received the VIP Excellence in Forensic Interviewing Award from Gundersen National Child Protection Training Center and, in 2020, she was the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Policemen’s Benevolent Association #265 Silver Card Recipient.
Ms. Henriquez received her Bachelor’s in Social Work degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 1998.
